Mayday 2011 Report: President Obama states from Washington D.C that Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by "a small team of Americans" acting under Obama's direct orders.
It would be too wishful to hope that along with this extermination all terrorism and hatred will disappear from the face of the Earth. Unfortunately, similar hate-mongering people will appear in different guises. Claiming to represent any number of religions, ideologies and causes. Their strategies may be explicit or hidden. However, they all have one common feature. They sow the seed of hatred and they feel alive when inflicting pain into the hearts of the innocent and defenceless. This is a short article because the more we write about such people, the more significance we give them. Surely, they do not deserve importance or value.
The Holy Quran addresses such hateful people saying "And when it is said to them: 'Create not disorder on the Earth,' they say: 'We are only the promoters of peace.' Beware! it is surely they who create disorder, but they do not perceive it." [2:12-13]
The majority of humanity is peace loving and it is the effort of peace-makers that should be broadcast to the corners of the globe. Not the actions of the insignificant minority, who are a scourge upon the earth. Today, the need for peace is stronger than ever and the Ahmadiyya Community is at the forefront of this mission for Peace and Harmony. Every man, woman and child should join this Community in the global struggle for peace. We can stand united against these individuals, groups or organisations that are creating disorder on Earth.
The motto of the Ahmadiyya Movement: 'Love for All, Hatred for None' is what we express in our thoughts, words and actions. The time is near when this message will be adopted by all peaceful, caring, loving people who like me, live and work towards that grand day when we will all be under the banner of Peace.
